Well, this sleepless Breguet was created by Abraham-Louis Breguet. The French Revolution drove him from Paris to Switzerland, where this famous brand originated. Breguet invented the tourbillon, improved the automatic winding mechanism of pocket watches, and literally became synonymous with high accuracy and excellent quality of watches. His watchmaking achievements were highly appreciated – Breguet was elected a member of the French Academy of Sciences.
