The yellow-green uniform of the Jurisprudence School students got them the nickname of “siskins.” Now I bet you will immediately tell me the location of the school following the famous Russian folk-song. The school is located on the Fontanka river embankment near the Summer Garden. The song about the siskin drinking vodka near the Fontanka river could be sung in chorus by such prominent Russian figures as architect Stasov, poet Apukhtin, chess-player Alekhine, composers Serov, Taneyev, and finally, the most famous graduate of the school Pyotr I. Tchaikovsky.
