Zabelin is a great specialist in studying Russian antiquity, a researcher of the life of Russian tsars and tsarinas. He is the author of a detailed study of the history of Moscow and its very name. Zabelin tried to translate this word from a variety of languages from old Bactrian to Finnish and received words such as “bear,” “strong racer,” “cow river” as a result.
