In 1980, IBM decided to create a personal computer. They went to storm the market together with their comrade in arms — they widely used solutions of other firms, first of all, Intel chips and Microsoft operating system. Together, they made a computing revolution very fast. On August 11, 1981, right on the birthday of Steve Wozniak, the founder of the rival firm, Apple, they offered him a sort of a present, as new computers hit the shelves. And the answer was the rampant demand.
